In June 2014, EpiHack™ Laos addressed the threat of dengue fever by developing a tool helping the public stay informed about mosquito-borne disease outbreaks and providing tips to prevent the spread of the dengue virus.
EpiHack™ Laos developed the Larvae Survey Tools prototype, an official reporting tool to detect dengue fever outbreaks. By detecting outbreaks earlier, health experts and communities can take precautionary measures and decrease or eliminate the public health dangers of dengue fever.
