In August 2013, EpiHack™ Phnom Penh convened 60 leading technical developers and global health experts addressing the important, borderless issue of disease surveillance in Southeast Asia.

Impact

EpiHack™ Phnom Penh led to five prototype projects incorporating participatory (or crowd-sourced) disease surveillance into the region: CoPanFlu, DoctorMe self reporting, Influenza-Like Illnesses (ILI) Surveillance, Mae Tao Clinic, and new applications of Verboice.
